Meet Our Veterinarians

Dr. Thomas H. Knoebel
Dr. Knoebel received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Missouri. After serving two years in the United States Army, he attended both Brigham Young University and Bloomsburg University, where he received a Master of Science degree in Biology. He then attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1981. Dr. Knoebel joined the staff of Loyalsock Animal Hospital in 1981. He is the majority owner of Loyalsock Animal Hospital. Dr. Knoebel and his wife, Ruth, reside in Fairfield Township and are the parents of five boys and the grandparents to five little girls. He enjoys growing fruit trees and grapes as well as fishing, hiking, playing golf and his Chihuahua , Jack.

Dr. Knoebel's special interests in the practice are soft tissue and orthopedic surgery.


Dr. Mary Lou Beers

Attended undergraduate school at Michigan State University and at Juniata College where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and came to Loyalsock Animal Hospital after her graduation in 1988. She is a co-owner of Loyalsock Animal Hospital. Dr. Beers has one daughter, Eliza. Dr. Beers lives in Loyalsock with her rescue poodle, Clara and three cats, Elwood, Tank Girl and Maddie. Dr. Beers has served as a 4-H leader and is on the development committee for the Lycoming County 4-H. She is currently a board member for the Lycoming County SPCA. Dr. Beers is a volunteer member of the Friends of the James V. Brown Library.

Dr. Beers enjoys internal medicine cases, endoscopy and has a special interest in small mammals.


Dr. John P. Broshkevitch

Dr. Broshkevitch obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Bucknell University. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. Since then he has practiced at the Loyalsock Animal Hospital. Dr. Jay (as we call him) is a co-owner of the Loyalsock Animal Hospital. Dr. Broshkevitch and his wife, Elizabeth, live with their two children Joshua and Sarah, in Loyalsock Township. He enjoys basketball, soccer, golf and is an avid fly tyer and fisherman.

Dr. Broshkevitch is our staff ultrasonographer and has a special interest in reptile and amphibian medicine.


Dr. Jennifer M. Pardoe

Has been on the Loyalsock Animal Hospital team since 2000. She was born in Towanda and grew up in Forksville, Sullivan County, PA where her family still lives. Dr. Pardoe graduated magna cum laude from Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture with a Bachelor of Science degree in Small Animal Science and Conservation. She graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Veterinary Medicine. While at Ohio State, she was the recipient of a veterinary medicine scholarship. She was a member of the Student Chapter of the Veterinary Medical Association and the Honor Society of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Pardoe lives in Loyalsock Township with husband Jon and their pets. She enjoys the outdoors, walking, reading, and shopping.

Dr. Pardoe enjoys soft tissue surgery and has a special interest in cats.


Dr. Jeremy H. Knoebel

Joined the staff of the Loyalsock Animal Hospital in 2004. He grew up in the Williamsport area and graduated from Montoursville High School. He has a bachelors degree in Zoology from Brigham Young University and later graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. He presently lives in Williamsport with his wife, Tracy, daughters Brynn and Elyse, and a dog and two cats. He enjoys spending time with family, church service, sports and being outdoors.

His veterinary interests include animal behavior, medicine, surgery, and Ultrasonography.
