History
In 1967, Dr. Lester Beck came to Williamsport where he worked independently in mixed animal practice and founded the Loyalsock Animal Hospital in 1968. Mr. Gary Schick, who is currently a certified veterinary technician and hospital manager at LAH began working with Dr. Beck at this time. In 1970, Loyalsock Animal Hospital began serving small animals only. Dr. Beck added a new wing to the building in 1974 and the hospital has experienced steady growth ever since. The Feline Center was opened in 2005, adding much needed space for our feline friends.

Loyalsock Animal Hospital has become a part of the community, hosting Open Houses, welcoming students from the middle schools and high schools to observe, conducting tours for elementary classes and various local clubs. We contribute to local charities and help to sponsor groups from the Williamsport Symphony to the Loyalsock Boosters.

We are proud to claim a loyal and experienced staff, many of whom have been with us for more than 10 years. We have many clients who have been with us from the very beginning and we now serve their children and sometimes their grandchildren as well.

We understand that taking care of your pet is really taking care of a member of your family, through good times and bad. We cherish looking at our profession as a "calling" and wouldn't have it any other way.

The Feline Center is a dedicated clinic just for cats, and is conveniently located in the building adjacent to the Loyalsock Animal Hospital. The FelineCenter is committed to providing quality, compassionate care to cat owners of Lycoming County and surrounding areas. We offer a wide variety of services for your kitty. It's dog-free inviting atmosphere is perfect for your feline. Each veterinarian and team member is deeply committed to the health and well-being of your cat. We love cats as much as you do.
